We welcome you as a patient and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with dental services. These services are provided in a friendly, gentle and caring manner. Our office meets or exceeds OSHA standards. The information that follows is designed to answer many of the questions most patients have. We want you to know about our policies and methods of practice. The more you know, the more we can be of service. If there are any questions, however, please ask since we do want to be of help.

We are proud of our dental history which started in 1952 when Dr. Ernest F. Lidge opened a dental practice in downtown Arlington Heights. This office was located on the second floor above the Ben Franklin store on 7 West Campbell Street. In January 1970, Dr. Robert G. Rokos joined the practice, and in July the practice moved to its present location. September of 1994 marked the retirement of Dr. Lidge as Dr. Mark A. Lallas joined the practice. The practice changed its name at this time to "Arlington Dental Associates, P.C.". It is interesting to note that Dr. Lidge served at a SAC Air Force base with the US Air Force, Dr. Rokos served with a "MASH" hospital in Viet Nam with the US Army, and Dr. Lallas served in Okinawa, Japan after a General Practice Residency with the US Navy. Our office has always enjoyed a good reputation not only from our patients, but also from the dental and medical community

Practice Hours

The office is open Monday thru Saturday with the exception of Major Holidays. Hours are by appointment.

Appointments

We try to see all patients on an appointment basis, and we request that you make an appointment in advance so that we can reserve time for you. The office telephone number is (847) 253-7477. We make every effort to honor all time commitments and request that you extend the same courtesy to us. On occasion emergencies can cause problems, and whenever possible, you will be fully informed if there will be any delays because of this.

If appointments cannot be kept, please call and cancel at least 24 hours in advance. There may be a charge for broken appointments.

Dental Prophylaxis (Routine Cleaning)
Comprehensive Dental Exam including radiographs
Preventative Dentistry including fluoride treatments and sealants
Restorative Dentistry including tooth colored fillings, silver fillings, gold inlays
Prosthodontic treatment including crowns, bridges, partial dentures, complete dentures
Cosmetic Dentistry including bonding, bleaching, porcelain laminate veneers
Dental Implants

Fees and Payments

We provide quality care at reasonable fees. Payment upon completion of each procedure is requested unless other arrangements have been made.

Insurance

We accept indemnity insurance. We do not, however, participate in dental PPO or HMO programs. Our philosophy of practice is that we want to provide the highest quality dentistry possible and the patient and Dentist should decide what treatment is best for the patient.

Remember, good doctor-patient communications result in greater cooperation in caring for the patients dental problems. We encourage you to discuss any and all problems with us. Early recognition of problems ensures optimal dental care. Our practice continues to grow with referrals. We appreciate and encourage referrals from our patients.
